Hiking: Trails to hike are found at Portage Park, Blackwater Environmental Area, and Tioga Recreation Area. The City is also part of the North Country Trail which has trails within the City limits.

Mountain Biking: World-class mountain biking takes place at Tioga Recreation Area. There are trails for beginners up to expert at this unique venue. Mountain and fat tire bikes can also be checked out to residents for their own use at no charge.

Walking: Gentle walking trails at Portage Park expand into the Bass Brook Wildlife Management Area. There are other paved and unpaved trails in the city. We also offer guided, casual walks on a weekly basis at either Tioga Beach or Tioga Recreation Area.
